With Jackie Evancho( the runner up in America's Got Talent) and Willow Smith recently becoming internet sensations it poses the question- is fame at such a young age a good thing?
Jackie Evancho was recently the runner up in the hit summer show America's Got Talent. The judges often referred to her voice as "sounding like an angle." Her voice is so powerful that when I would listento her I would feel the urge sometimes to fight back tears. This pint size opera singer is only 10 years old with a sincere and unique talent. In the season finale that just aired on Wednesday, Jackie Evancho lost to Michael Grimm. Michael Grimm is obviously talented but he is also obviously not as talented as Evancho. I will admit my vote did not go to Evancho(but it did go to Prince Poppycock who also deserved to win more than Grimm) for the same reason a lot of people did not vote for her. One million dollars for her and her family would have been fine; however, a show in Las Vegas is way too much for a little girl, and apparently America felt the same. She is a smart little girl but she bothered me with her overtly adult attitude. This little girl will, with no doubt, go to high places but at the age of 10 Las Vegas should not be one of them.
Will Smith's daughter, Willow Smith recently made major waves on the internet with her song "Whip My Hair." I see many things wrong with her shot to fame. It would probably only be a matter of time before the little girl became famous coming from the Smith family. However, her clothes are adult styles(she has stated that her fashion icon is Rhianna ) and her song has silly lyrics. I think she has a pretty good voice and seems to be a really intelligent child. However, she is still a 9 year old child being thrust into the lime light by signing on to Jay Z's record label Roc Nation.
These young girls are already talented but at what point do they stop being kids and become celebrities? We may end up finding out t0o late, as we did with Lindsay Lohan.

I believe the real one here is Jackie Evancho.......she has made it without the help of her STAR parent WIll Smith. Willow would neve have gotten the break without him I am sure. Beside they are not even close when it comes to talent. Willow has a long way to go.
